  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • sesame seeds
  • 2 limes, cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped

Sweet Chili Thai Sauce

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce (optional)


  • Preheat grill to 400 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, mix the oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add the chicken wings and mix until combined.
  • Add the brown sugar, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, and fish sauce to a small sauce pot. Simmer for 8-10 minutes until thickened and remove from the heat.
  • Grill the chicken wings for 20 minutes, turning every 5 minutes. Keep them close together to maximize moisture.
  • Toss 1/3 cup of the sauce with the cooked chicken wings. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro. Serve with lime slices and extra sweet chili thai sauce.
